Homemade Rimmer - No MSG!

I've been enjoying Caesars for years.  The Caesar with "rimmer" and "veggies" boast savoury, sweet, spicy, salty and bitter flavours.  I want to make one now just typing these words.  Mmmmph!

In our house, and other members of the family's homes , you know who you are, "Caesar Sunday" has become a frequent occurrence.   I can't explain it but a Caesar with all the "fixin's" on a Sunday just hits the spot.

A quick tip:  I like to start with a coarse salt, and grind it down to the texture that I like - a little course but not too coarse or too fine.

Prep Time:  10 mins

Serves/Yields:  ½ cup

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp fresh sea salt – fine or slightly coarse

  • 1 tbsp celery salt

  • 1 tbsp fresh cracked black pepper - fine

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 3 tsp chili powder

  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper

 

Instructions:

  1. Combine ingredients in a bowl and mix

  2. Store in an air tight container (e.g. mason jar)
